Trash to Treasure

my first post here. (i know, ris & kaye...finally! ;p)

even before i became a first-time mom this year, i've always been on the lookout for ways to save but still be stylish. today's post on the nesting place is a great reminder that just by changing your perspective about something could give it instant value and style. she paid less than a dollar for someone's thrown-out pillow sham that turned out to be the most coveted pillow on the sofa. if i look through my or my mom's stash of pillow shams, i might just find a gem for free!
